The chairman of the Northern Governors Forum and Plateau State governor, Simon Lalong
Governor Simon Bako Lalong of Plateau State has said the message being conveyed by Boko Haram terrorists targeting Christians and Plateau citizens is condemnable.

The governor was reacting yesterday on the video allegedly released by the group showing the purported execution of a student hostage from Plateau State, Mr. Ropvil Daciya Dalep who was killed on Tuesday.

The governor, in a statement signed by his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Dr Makut Simon Machan, said the killing was aimed at creating  sentiments and perceived hatred for people based on religion and origin. Lalong added that, “the narrative of the terrorists must never be allowed to fester and cause disharmony among Nigerians.”
