Hon Ladi Madaki, the Chief Registrar of the Plateau State High Court and the representative of the Plateau State Chief Judge in the State COVID-19 Committee has said a lot of the violators of the Plateau State Government directive on the restriction of movement in the State follow illegal foot parts into the State.

She said as at the first phase of the lockdown in the State 1242 defaulters were arrested and prosecuted.

The Chief Registrar of the Plateau State High Court hinted that as at 22nd April,2020, 769 persons have been arrested and convicted while 78 persons have been quarantined.

The Registrar stressed that more arrests and convictions would be made before the end of the lockdown.
