Wife of the House of the Member, House of Representatives, Representing Mikang, Qua'anpan and Shendam Federal Constituency, Hon Komsol Alphonsus Longgap, lends her voice in solidarity with her fellow women, NGOs, Civil Society Organisations, Federal, State and Local Governments, including all patriotic Nigerians in condemning the ugly rising cases of rape in Nigeria.

Mrs Agnes Longgap describes rape as a satanic attack on the girl child that has physical, moral, emotional and psychological trauma and stigma on a girl child or woman.

Hence, the need for all hands to be on deck to arrest this ugly development with all sense of urgency and seriousness.

She calls on all authorities to ensure rapists are meant to face full wrath of the law to serve as deterrent to others with such evil intentions.
