Pioneering Students of the department of Science Laboratory Technology (PSSLT), Vom took a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Provost of the Collage, Dr. Jude Okpara. Leading the delegation was the first President of the department, Comr Gonet Godman. 


As the spokesperson, Comr Gonet Godman expressed delight and how excited the news of his appointment came to the pioneering students and the Vom community at large. He described Dr. Jude Okpara as a father and a source of inspiration following his indelible and tremendous achievements as HOD, Science Laboratory Technology in the previous years. He encouraged the newly appointed Provost to trust God for more grace in executing his responsibilities in the new office.  


In his swift response, Dr. Jude Okpara expressed gratitude for the good gesture and for making time to visit him. He expressed his optimism and pledged his unwavering support to the department and to the graduating students, as well and his intention to expand the college by bringing more programs such as, Food Science and Technology, Statistics, Digital Technology and many others. He also unveil his intention to create employment opportunities. 


Dr. Jude also assured his commitment to establish an alumni body which will be an avenue to form bonds of unity between the college and all graduating students. Cmr Choji Ebenezer, Cmr Alex Jimmy, Comr Jennifer Nankpah and Cmr Zakari Abubakar were part of the delegation team.
