An Islamic group under the aegis of Izalatun Sunnah in Kanam Local Government Area of Plateau State have eulogize the brand new "Ra'an Jhar", Alh. Mahmud Maikano Dugub.

Mallam Abdullahi Tukur leader of Izala Kanam branch, who lead the delegation in a courtesy visit on Thursday, alongside Alh. Garba Gangariya, shugaban Malamai Dengi to Ra'an Jhar (Alh.Mahmud Maikano Dugub ) resident in Dugub, said they were in his domain to identify with him over his recent election.

The group who described his emergence as "well deserved" considering his track records, also charged the monarch to remain just and resolute while discharging his responsibility.

Responding, Ra'an Jhar Alh. Mahmud Maikano Dugub expressed optimism with Izala Kanam branch for identifying with him over his victory.

He sue for genuine harmonious working relationship, mutual understanding and peaceful coexistence among the populace, promising to preside over the functions in his kindred with equity and fairness to the betterment of Kanam LGA, Plateau and Nigeria as a whole.


You would recall Alh. Ahmed Sule Garga Mabudin jhar and former leader Kanam LGC, Alh Yahuza maikano represent the executive chiaman Kanam LGC Hon. Abbas Adamu Wakdom, the leader Kanam LGC,elected and apponted councilors,  Alh. umar yalla, Alh musa Isa Musawa,the DPM, Civil defence Kanam LGC, the chief of staff Kanam LGC,Sarki dull, Alh yahaya chairman NURTW Kanam LGC  alongside some kingmakers earlier paid a similar visit to the monarch.

However, this medium gather that the monarch Ra'an Jhar, Alh. Mahmud Maikano Dugub is still remains in his private abode in Dugub and not yet moved to the palace in Dogon Ruwa.

Our correspondent also learned that the Stool of Ra'an Jhar remain vacant for a while before the emergence of Alh. Mahmud Maikano Dugub as "Ra'an Jhar" in a keenly elections by the king makers in "Jhar Nation" that was done under peaceful and transparent atmosphere.
