Plateau State House of Assembly Deputy Speaker and member Representing Dengi Constituency, Rt Hon Saleh Shehu Yipmong (Surv) who is nicknamed by many as an epitome of humility and silent achiever embarked on a tour round some Wards in his constituency for different functions among which are; distribution of medical equipments, coronations, weddings, condolences and other end of year events.


Recall; the Deputy Speaker few years ago embarked on free medical outreach which was the first of it's kind where over 400 persons underwent surgical operations of different types of ailments while other 1000 plus recieved free drugs for different ailments.


Fast forward to December 2020 and January 2021, Deputy Speaker S.S Yipmong comes up with yet another constituency intervention of medical equipments distribution in Kanam Ward, Kwalmiya to be precise and Gwamlar Ward. Some of the equipments include Hospital Beds and Mattrasses, side Cupboards, Stretchers, Saline stands, Office tables, office table(executive), Office Chairs, Office chairs (executive), standing Fans, Glove boxes, Sterilizing tray, Patient Scale, Generator, Troyleys, Wheelchairs, some  wall repairs and others. In his remark, the Deputy Speaker urged the beneficiaries to utilize the medical equipment judiciously as these will make easy for the work of the medical Staff as well as the whole of the people of the benefited Wards. He assured them that he haven't forgotten about the convenant he had with them during campaign; said "nor matter how long, i will always bring to the people what belongs to them".


At Kwalmiya, Kanam Ward, the medical equipments were recieved with joy by the people whose hope came to live as medical facilities is said to be grossly deficient. Deputy Speaker also attend the coronation of an Ngas man (Mr Yuldi) as Sarkin Yakin Salaman Kanam. Rt Hon Yipmong urged the celebrant to be loyal at all time because his responsibility requires utmost loyalty as he dolled out cash to the celebrant and people of Kwalmiya and donated a brand new Electric generating set to the Salaman Kanam to help brighten up his palace.


On the 2nd of January, Rt Hon Yipmong attended another coronation of Alh Abdullahi Chindo Duna the Garkuwan Gar_Duam. He wished the celebrant wisdom in the course of discharging his duties in the interest of his people. He further indentify with the family of Hon Nuhu Gyambari and Engr. Silas Buba who lost his son and in-law CPL Dashe (Rtd British army) respectively to the cold hands of death, sympathized and prayed with the immediate family at their residence.





In the same vein, the Deputy Speaker sympathized with the family of late Baba Sule at their residence who loss their mother, he described the deceased as a mother to all, an icon of peace, egaletarian of kind gesture and a pillar of unity in the community. The train further moved to the residence of Late Abdulkareem the son to late Emir Ibrahim who died. He prayed alongside the family for God to grant mercy to all faithful souls departed before embarking on his journey back to Jos.
