The head Coach of Plateau United football club of Jos, Abdu Maikaba said the team is targeting to finish among the top four in the ongoing 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL season.

Maikaba stated this when host Plateau United secured a three maximum points against their edge rival Katsina United in match day 26 fixtures at the New International Stadium Jos, Zaria Road on Wednesday midweek.

The second half two goals by Zulkifilu Mohammad and Buhari is all enough to sealed victory for home side Plateau United.

Peace Boys United who recorded their first away victory against Adamawa United last weekend and now Katsina United at home will be battling it out with Nasarawa United in Akwanga before playing host to Warri Wolves and Eyimba FC of Abba respectively.

According to Coach Maikaba:" we will try our best to see we managed top three or top four.

"You know sometimes if the team is in crisis you will be looking for a solutions here and there. May be this is the time that we got it and I am happy when we played away from home is even better, and I hope we will continue like that.

While commending on the united midfielder Oche Ochowechi superlative performance this season which is adjudged by many pundits as the best attacking midfielder of the 2020/2021 NPFL season, and not yet received invitation from any of the Eagles team.

Maikaba said " he deserves a national call. I am even surprised when I see a three names that were invited to join eagle without his name. I am so surprised but I talked to Genot Rohr and I hope they will soon react."

Meanwhile, team Plateau United are now occupying the 8 position with 39 points  in the league table from 26 games.
