The Minority leader, Plateau State House of Assembly and member representing Langtang North Central Constituency, Daniel Nanbol Listick, has empowered about 121 women constituents with N50,000 each worth N6,050,000 million.

Listick, the Plateau State 10th Assembly chairman committee on security and labour, said the gesture is aimed at addressing the current economic challenges and improving living condition of his constituents.

Our correspondent reports that, the 121 beneficiary women were selected one from each of the 121 polling units of Langtang North Central Constituency.

Presenting the cash to the beneficiaries Sunday at the Gazum cultural Center in Gantang, Langtang North, the Lawmaker reiterates his commitment towards serving humanity.He expressed hope that the government would soon respond to his request for funds to help mitigate the hardship caused by the current economic situation.
“We are here today to execute an empowerment initiative based on the budget line we requested, and which has been approved by the Government. This initiative is part of a broader effort to support women across Langtang North Central. Each woman selected from the nine federal wards will receive N50,000 to help support her small business or personal needs. 

"We have already empowered the youth with 15 motorcycles, and we will continue to monitor their progress closely. As the government releases more funds, we will brainstorm on additional ways to meet the social welfare needs of our people,” Listick noted.

Mr. Jemkur Nanyap, the Deputy Labour Party (LP) Chairman of Pil Ward, and Mr. Oscar J. Nanmwa shower encomium  to the Lawmaker for his responsiveness to the needs of the constituents. They praised his leadership prowess, describing him as a listening member who prioritizes the welfare of his people as they prayed for continued success and greater heights for Hon. Daniel Nanbol Listick.

The beneficiary women, many of whom were elderly, also offered prayers for the Legislature safety, success, and continued progress in his leadership journey.

It is evidently clear that the gesture underscores the Lawmaker's ongoing commitment to community development and economic empowerment in Langtang North Central Constituency.
