APPRECIATION TO PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU FOR APPOINTING RT. HON. YAKUBU DOGARA AS CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD, NATIONAL CREDIT GUARANTEE COMPANY LIMITED (NCGC)


The Coalition of Northern Ethnic Groups extends its heartfelt appreciation to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for the well-deserved appointment of Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, former Speaker of the House of Representatives, as Chairman of the Board of the newly established National Credit Guarantee Company Limited (NCGC).


This appointment is a clear demonstration of President Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to inclusive governance, national unity, and strategic leadership. By placing a seasoned statesman like Rt. Hon. Dogara at the helm of this critical institution, the President has once again proven that competence, integrity, and experience remain central to his Renewed Hope Agenda.


The NCGC, designed to enhance access to credit for Nigerians—especially small and medium enterprises and those in the informal sector—is a major step towards financial inclusion and economic empowerment. We are confident that under Rt. Hon. Dogara’s leadership, the NCGC will serve as a catalyst for grassroots development and a powerful tool for lifting millions out of poverty.


We particularly commend His Excellency for recognizing and appointing a Northern Christian to such a high-profile and economically strategic position.
