Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Naanlong Daniel Gapyil, has rejoiced with wife of the Plateau State Governor, Barr. Helen Mutfwang, on the occasion of her birthday anniversary.
In a goodwill message, the Speaker described Barr. Helen Mutfwang as a gracious and supportive First Lady whose exemplary character, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people of Plateau State have continued to attract admiration and respect.
Rt. Hon. Naanlong Daniel commended her for standing firmly by Governor Caleb Mutfwang, in the noble task of advancing peace, unity, and development of Plateau.
He particularly eulogized her tireless humanitarian efforts, noting that through various charitable programs, Barr. Helen Mutfwang has touched countless lives across communities from supporting widows and orphans, to championing girl-child education and initiating health outreach programs that bring hope to the less privileged.
The Speaker also lauded her dedication to empowering women and youth through skills acquisition and economic support schemes, describing her as a beacon of hope whose kindness transcends political, ethnic, and religious boundaries. He stressed that her leadership in humanitarian causes is a model worthy of emulation by all.
While acknowledging her contributions to various empowerment and social development initiatives, the Speaker prayed that God would bless her with good health, wisdom, and many more years of purposeful service to humanity.
He wished the First Lady a joyous celebration and renewed strength as she continues to impact lives positively.
