The death has been announced of Mrs. Aishatu Makama, Mother-in-law of Mr. Joseph A Adudu, the Publisher of African Drum Magazine.

According to the family, the late Mrs Makama died on Thursday afternoon, 18th December, 2025 after a protracted illness.

Until her demise, Mrs Makama was a retired health personnel with the Plateau State Local Government Service Commission.

Burial arrangement will be announced later.
