The Executive Chairman of Jos North local government council, Barr. John Christopher alongside deputy Kabiru Garkuwa, 20 councillors as well as leaders have officially joined and received the All Progressive Congress (APC) membership card, marking a significant shift in the local political landscape.

The event which held at Jos North local government secretariat on Wednesday was attended by high-ranking officials and party loyalists.
The council chairman  pledged their loyalty to the APC, committing to respect the party's constitution and rules.

While commending president Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Caleb Mutfwang sterling leadership, Christopher said their aims is to work together for the development of Plateau State and Nigeria under the APC.
The APC chairman Jos North LGA, Alhaji Sani Muhammed Gangare who received the defectors acknowledged that "today marks a significant milestone in annals of Jos North political history.

He APC is the only political party that guarantee equal opportunity for all members," whether your old or new member."

He charged the defectors to bring their wealth of experience into the fold of the party most especially now that 2027 general is fast approaching.
