Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Naanlong Daniel, has commiserated with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on the passing of Photojournalist, Sunday Adah Attah.

Rt. Hon. Daniel described Attah as a dedicated and highly professional photo-journalist whose consistent coverage of the Assembly’s plenary sessions has significantly enriched reportage of legislative proceedings in the state.

The Speaker noted that Attah’s diligence, calm disposition, and commitment to duty have earned him admiration among lawmakers, media professionals, and Assembly staff.

He equally used the opportunity to commiserate with the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Plateau State Council, the Correspondents’ Chapel, and the entire journalism community in the state over the sad incident.

The Speaker emphasized the invaluable role of the media in strengthening democracy, promoting transparency, and keeping citizens informed, noting that the contributions of committed journalists like Attah remain is vital to good governance.

He prayed God to grant Sunday Adam Attah, his family, colleagues, and the broader media fraternity the strength and comfort to bear the loss.
