Following the creation of Jos North and Riyom Traditional Council by the Lalong led administration, the Jos Join Traditional Council seize to exist as Jos North and Riyom local government areas will now have their President, Traditional Council of their respective local government councils.

The implication of this creation is that the Beroms will now have only Jos South and Barkin Ladi to be called their own and Gbong Gwom Jos seizes to be Gbong Gwom Jos but Gbong Gwom Berom,this will also changed the nomenclature of Plateau State Traditional Council as the Gbong Gwom Berom cannot preside over the state traditional council as president until elections are conducted and whoever win amongst the 13 first class chiefs will be the President, Plateau State Council of Chiefs and Emirs, this according feelers in the traditional council of the state settled the over 40 years confusion of the traditional council as Gbong Gwom cannot preside as permanent president of traditional rulers on the Plateau for whatever reason even if it's political or otherwise.

With the establishment of Jos North and Riyom Traditional Council, Ujah Anaguta,Jos North and Atar Aten of Ganawuri, Riyom are automatically the president of Jos North and Riyom Traditional Councils.
