The member representing Bassa/Jos North federal constituency, Hon (Dr) Suleiman Yahaya Kwande, has congratulated the Governor of Plateau state, Rt. Hon. Barr. Simon Bako Lalong, over his emergence as the chairman of the Northern Governors Forum (NGF).

In a statement he issued in Abuja, Kwande said “I wish to send my heartfelt congratulations to the governor of Plateau State, over his emergence as the Chairman, Northern Governors Forum (NGF).

“I have no doubt in my mind that my governor, the rescue team captain will be able to handle the responsibilities entrusted on his shoulder by his colleagues.

“Governor Lalong is a true democrats who respect the wishes and aspirations of the citizenry. His sterling qualities must have informed the decision of the governors to give him additional responsibilities apart from ruling his states”, he said.

Kwande therefore called on the Governors to cooperate with their newly elected leader so as to move the county Forward.

He once again congratulated the governor and wish him a very successful and eventful tenure.
