Federal road safety Corps(FRSC), Plateau state command have received a cash donation to the tune of one hundred and fifty thousand Naira from Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN), to enable them under go deworming of school pupils.

The schools pupils to benefit from the medical outreach cut across LEA primary school yelwa zangam and LEA primary school Naraguta all in Jos North Local Government Area with a population of about 1,566.

Presenting the cash donation at FRSC headquarters in Jos, the branch controller of CBN Jos, Mr. Duniya Yusuf said the gesture was in line with its corporate social responsibility as management and staff contributed voluntarily.

 He affirmed that two establishment(FRSC and CBN) would continue cementing their relationship believing that they are members of the same family.

While appreciating the CBN for the donation of cash, Assistant Corps Marshall, zonal Commanding officer zone 4, Ayobami A. Omiyale said FRSC key into medical outreach on child deworming first quarter in LEA primary school Sabon Peggy, Jos South Local Government Area.

He said the command have several programs of corporate social responsibility to carry but paucity funds has always been the challenge, noting the command doesn't have toilet and borehole over time.

Omiyale also disclosed that FRSC is very interested in catching children at younger age and make sure we're sensitize on safe road use for a better future.

He said the child pharmaceutical company that is providing the drugs at subsidized price is fully certified by NAFDAC as the initiative is meant for primary and junior Secondary schools students.
