Hon Naanlang S Dashe of the Jos South Mobile Court, Bukuru, sitting at the old LGC Secretariat has arraigned 159,convicted, quarantined and discharged some violators of the Plateau State Government directive on total lockdown during the first  phase of the stay at home order.

NewsGate Magazine investigation revealed that there was a drop in the second phase of the lockdown as citizens are more aware that violating the stay at home restrictions would attract penalties.

At the third phase of the lockdown, 9 violators were arraigned on Monday 27th April,2020 with 6 quarantined and 1 discharged.
On Tuesday 28th April,2020 11 persons were prosecuted,10 convicted and 1 discharged with 7 quarantined.

In related development,the Chief Judge of Plateau State, Justice Yakubu Dakwak and the Chief Registrar of the Plateau State High Court,Hon Ladi Agyer Madaki have embarked on a tour of the Plateau North Mobile Courts to monitor the compliance of the Plateau State directive on total lockdown and find out how the courts are fairing.

The Chief Judge frowned at the violators who use bush parts to come into the State and putting the State at risk of the COVID-19.
