Arising from the increase tendency of insecurity grippling the country, the commandant Operation Save Haven (OPSH), a joint special task force deployed to ensure maintenance of peace, law and order in Plateau, Kaduna and Bauchi States, Major General Chukwuemaka Okonkwo seek for more synergy and collaboration amongst security agents.

Major General Okonkwo made the appeal during his familiarization visit to the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Division, Major General Nuhu Angbazo at the Headquarters, Maxwell Khobe Cantonment Rukuba Jos, on Thursday 9 April, 2020.

OPSH commandant who took over mantle of leadership two days ago, said his visit is aim at ensuring continue support and cooperation of the Division to bring lasting peace to Plateau, describing the State as one that used to be peaceful in the past.

He promised to enhance the existing relationship between the OPSH and Division.

While responding, the GOC 3 Division, Major General Nuhu Angbazo assured Division's readiness to work closely with OPSH in its bid to bring the total peace to Plateau State and across its Joint Operational Areas, stressing that the "existing relationship between the duo has yielded positive results in the past would be consolidated upon."

In a related development, the newly OPSH Boss, also paid an operational visits to Sector 3 Tactical Headquarters, Forward Operational Base Hukke and Kwall where he addressed the troops to be more dedicated, resilient and proactive in their duties. He therefore assured them of his support.
