The Speaker in a special Sallah message on behalf of the Principal Officers, Honourable Members and the entire Staff of the Assembly felicitates with the President Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, the National Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs and the entire Muslim Ummah in the country (especially Plateau State adherence) on the occasion of Eid-el Fitir celebration. The Speaker in a statement, signed by his Press Secretary, Mr Bulus Atang, enjoined all Nigerians irrespective of their religious believes to use this occasion to embrace one another by living in peace and harmony with one another. He urges the Muslims to continue to reflect on the good lessons learned during the month of Ramadan and make it part of their daily lifestyles. Abok reiterated the uncommon commitment of the House to providing quality representation and assured of collaborative working relationship with other arms of government for the growth and development of the state. The speaker while wishing all Muslim faithfuls a very peaceful, happy and memorable celebration, appeals to all and sundry to continue to be law abiding and adhere to the preventive measures aim at curbing further spread of the novel disease in the state.
