The Speaker of Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abok Nuhu Ayuba has described the recent mass coordinated destructions of both public and private property in Jos as an attempt by enemies of the State to bring the efforts of the rescue administration of restoring peace and rebuilding the State's economy (which has already been ruined by series of crises and violence in the past) to a stand still.

The Speaker, stated this when he led a delegation of the National Assembly (Plateau State Caucus) under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Ahmed Idris Maje (Deputy Speaker, Federal House of Representatives, Abuja) to Government House in Rayfield where they joined Governor Simon Lalong on a  tour to the affected areas.

The Plateau State Caucus of the National Assembly were in Jos today to sympathize with the Government and  people of Plateau State over the large scale destructions of public and private facilities by hoodlums who had hijacked the #ENDSARS protests to perpetrate all kinds of heinous crimes such as looting and vandalisation.

The affected areas visited were the Jos International Breweries (JIB), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Former Speaker, Yakubu Dogara's House in Lamingo, Bukuru Warehouse, Plateau State Rural Water Supply & Sanitation Agency (PRUWASSA), and Plateau State Road Maintenance Agency.
