Muslim faithfuls round the globe have been tasked to imbibe the culture of love, Perseverance and tolerance for one another as they mark 2020 Eid-El Maulud Celebration.

The management committee chairman of Jos North Local Government Council, Shehu Bala Usman who gave the admonition urged Muslim faithfuls to use the period of prophet Muhammad birthday celebration to show love to humanity devoid of ill motive.

According to the press statement signed by Philip Eplong, senior information officer to the Council Chairman, Shehu Bala Usman, which made available to journalists in Jos, while congratulating the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of the birthday of the Holy Prophet said "celebration should inspire Muslims to renew their belief in the Almighty Allah."

Usman who emphasized the importance of the occasion towards portraying the exemplary behavior of prophet Muhammad, noted that it is expected of the Muslim Ummah to emulate the noble character of the prophet, who lived a peaceful life, preached peaceful coexistence among and between his followers and adherents of other beliefs.

He charged the Muslim faithful in Jos North to use the period for thoughtful stock taking of their routine and spiritual performance in the last one year and pray to the Almighty Allah for a better and prosperous year.

The Chairman used the occasion to advise Muslims in the area to use the period to reflect on the challenges bedeviling the country occasioned by the #EndSARS protest which was hijacked by hoodlums.

He appealed to those who have more to share with there less privileged neighbours and spread the virtues of peace, love and charity which the Holy Prophet exemplified.
