Mrs Sarah Patrick Dakum in celebrating her 60th birthday anniversary decided to give back to society in appreciation to God Almighty for spearing her life and allowing her celebrate her Diamond Jubilee in one peace. 


Sarah Patrick Dakum, the wife of the Chief Executive Officer of the famous Institute of Human Virology Abuja-Nigeria, decided to build and commission an Examination Hall to the Government Secondary School Jiblik named Dakum Hall.



The supportive wife and loving mother equally donated Jerseys, footballs and an iron goal posts in honor of her late son,Daniel Dakum, a great lover of  football. 


These activities were possible as their daughter In-law came back to assist in the educational transformation of their community.


 The Commissioning ceremony started with the School anthem of Government Secondary School Jiblik, welcoming  guests to the birthday celebration of Mrs. Sarah Dakum, the wife of the Chief Executive Officer Institute of Human Virology Dr. Patrick Dakum by the students. 


The examination hall was built and equipped with metal chairs, two office cabinets provided and a new Nigerian flag and its stand erected.




 Not forgetting sports Mrs. Dakum donated a complete set of Jerseys, football boots and two trophies, one which was named after her Late son, Daniel Dakum for sports and the other for the Literary and Debating Clubs and the provision of an iron goal post on the football pitch.


In her remarks  Mrs. Sarah Dakum said she feels fulfilled as she celebrates her 60th birthday by contributing to the educational transformation of Government Secondary School Jiblik, which will in turn, impact positively in the lives of the students.


In her speech, the Plateau State Commissioner for Secondary Education,Mrs Elizabeth Wapmuk described the gesture by Mrs. Sarah Patrick Dakum as an investment done by someone with a good heart aiming at the Goverment's Educational transformation in the state. 


The husband of the celebrant Dr. Patrick Sunday Dakum said his wife has brought joy to him by this singular effort of giving back to society rather than spending resources in organizing a lavish party to celebrate her birthday in the  city. 


He hinted that any investment in the Education Sub-Sector is an exercise worthy of emulation.
