A national youth Ambassador and Speaker, Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abok Nuhu Ayuba, Sunday 3rd, January, 2021, had an interactive session with the leadership of Youth Groups across the State @ the Millennium Village Garden Behind Millennium Plaza, opposite Elim Suites in Rayfield, Jos. The event which was organized by Mr Speaker to mark the 2021 new year celebration was held under strict adherence to COVID-19 safety protocols.



Abok stressed on the need for the youth on the Plateau to unite irrespective of tribal, religious, or political party affiliations for the common good of the youth, and that of Plateau State. He said, the strength and gains of a uniting Plateau Youth can never be over emphasized, hence, the need to prioritize it.

The speaker, appreciated the Lalong administration and of course, the honourable members of the ninth State House of Assembly for given him the support to lead the state legislative arm and being a youth, he has been and will continue to treat matters that are beneficial to the youth and indeed that of the State with all seriousness and the urgency it deserves. He assured the youth that, he and members of the ninth State Assembly will not fail them.

He promised to unveil in a no distance time, series of these types of parleys for the Plateau Youth to serve as a platform of generating ideas and getting feedbacks even as he continues to chart the course of unity, peace and progress of the state. But he however, calls on them to bring in their contributions on how the government can serve them better, to seeing to the progress of the state as we do not have any state other than the Plateau State and as such we must collectively fashion ways of making it a better place to live. 

In conclusion, the Speaker while wishing each and everyone a happy and prosperous new year, said, his doors are widely opened for advice, constructive criticism and positive engagement.
