The commissioner for Science and Technology of Plateau State has commiserated with the people of Plateau State, over the death of two prominent Elder statesmen.



The elders are Da Yohanna Nyam Dang chairman Berom Elders Council (BEC) who doubles as the "Dalo Berom" and Chief Jethro Akun, a one time Deputy Governor of Plateau State who their sudden demise was announced within the week.


Hon. Musa, in a condolence message issued on Friday, sympathised with the families of the bereaved, Government and the people of Plateau state over the passing away of the duo.



“On behalf of myself, the Management and Staff of the Ministry of Science and Technology Plateau State, I condole with the Goverment and people of Plateau State over the death of two elders who served the state in their respective capacities. I also commiserate with the families, friends and associates of the deceased.



“Their sudden and unfortunate death has robbed the state of the services of patriotic and true councellors,” Hon. Musa said.


The commissioner noted that the deceased were outstanding Elder statesmen, who were concerned with Peace and development of the State, and would be sorely missed by their families and the people of Plateau.


He prayed to God to grant the souls of the deceased eternal rest and comfort Government, families and loved ones.
