Vice president Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo have stated that late Prof. Habu S.Galadima who died in active service as director general of National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, NIPSS,Kuru, have a deep conviction of repositioning the National Institute considering his intellectual capable.
Osinbajo said late Galadima left a footprints in the sand of time looking at his studies, consulting, teaching and fellowship across diverse intellectual as well as welfare of the NIPSS family.
He also revealed that Galadima's comments and contributions is mainly desire for better Nigeria,having had an encounter with him when led senior executive course 42 members for a dinner in Abuja.
Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo made the remarks on Saturday in National Institute, Kuru, during the first memorial lectures and tributes in honour of late Prof Habu Galadima by NIPSS and Habu Galadima friends.
Prof. Galadima who specializes in the area of international relations and Strategic Studies was born on the 24th March, 1963 in Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, Nigeria. He got appointed as DG NIPSS in August 2019 and died 20,December 2020.
Earlier, acting DG NIPSS Brid. Gen. CF Udaya rtd acknowledged that the National Institute is celebrating late Prof.Habu Galadima for the meritorious service rendered to not only NIPSS but Nigeria as a whole.
He said the event was the first of its kind ever since the institute came into existence.
However, personalities and groups who grace the memorial lectures and tributes alluded to the fact that though late Prof. Habu S.Galadima live was short but meaningful as he left a lasting legacies for future generation and generations yet unborn.
