The member representing Jos North West constituency in the Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon. Surv. Esther Simi Dusu, chairman House committee on Women Affairs, felicitates with and congratulates all women on this auspicious occasion of the celebration of International Women's day, 2021.


In a Statement through her SLA; John Kele, said Hon Dusu expresses satisfaction that a day is set aside to annually celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women, the world over. Saying that "This feet has further embolden and strengthen my spirit with the increasing recognition of women in various spheres of life both Locally and International".


Hon. Dusu, further expressed delight that the theme for International Women’s Day “Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world,”. Is timely and urge women to stand up for what is right, and to speak against any form of stereotype and discrimination against women. Noting that the role of women in the society cannot be over emphasized as a testament to this truth is the fact that the world has continued to benefit from the modest contribution of women.


It's in the light of the above that Hon. Dusu, is on behalf of herself, Constituents and the ministry of Women Affairs Plateau State, felicitates with all women globally on this year's celebration of International Women's day Celebration.
