The reigning champions Plateau United football club of Jos have beaten Wikki Tourist of Bauchi 4-1 in the on going Nigerian Professional Football League(NPFL), 2020/2021 campaign season.

The peace boys,Plateau United who played host to Wikki Tourist Bauchi in a match day 22 on Sunday at the new Jos International Stadium, Zaria Road dominate and claimed a three maximum points against their opponents.

Zulkifilu Mohammad got a brace while Mustapha Ibrahim and Oche Ochowechi score one goal each to sealed victory for home side United.

Speaking after full 90 minutes of play, Plateau United Babale head Coach Abdu Maikaba said the game is very impressive as the players play according to expectation.

He said for them to be in the race they have to be consistent at any moment.

However, winning away from home is what appears to be nightmare for Team Plateau United this season, Coach Maikaba is optimistic that they are working harder to overcome such challenges and to among top four.

Chief coach of Wikki Tourist Bauchi Abdullahi Adamu who suffered defeat shower accolade to Plateau United, noting that "they are better side with potential players.

Coach Adamu's encounter with United was his first assignment in the club, revealed that they are going back to do their homework and get better as he is just assessing the team.
