Hon Manji Gontori today felicitates with Nigerians and particularly plateau state citizens on the occasion of this year's Democracy day celebration. 

Gontori in a press statement issued in his residence in Jos, call on Nigerians to pray more for the peace and the development of the nation. We must implore every sense of patriotism which will help in no small measure towards nation-building.


Nigeria as a nation has gone through a lot in recent times. 

Gontori said it's expedient for leaders at all levels of government to give attention to the security and welfare of the citizenry because the essence of govt is to provide dividends of democracy to its citizens.


Gontori congratulates the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari, the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajibiamila, members of the national assembly, judiciary, the Governor of plateau state, Rt. Hon Simon Bako lalong, Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon, Abok Nuhu Ayuba and members of the state House of assembly, traditional institutions and indeed peace-loving people of plateau state on this great day of celebrating our democracy.
