The education, economic and socio-cultural organization, 'NGWANG ISHI O'TAROK' (NIO) of Tarok Nation have raised alarm over the continuous influx of strange faces in Southern Plateau, saying that if appropriate action is not taking it will trigger chaos.

The NIO said it is raising alarm because of the current security challenges affecting Plateau and Nigeria as a whole and those people are alien; " they are not Nigerians".

They Pointed out that in recent weeks Plateau South have continued experiencing an unprecedented "influx of war-like strangers" in their domain.

Addressing Journalists in Jos the state capital on Wednesday, President of NGWANG ISHI O'TAROK, David Dashe admitted that between 2002 and 2013, Tarok people were isolated as the target of countless attacks, conspiracy and molestations by terrorists for unprovoked reasons.

He said:" that there is historic evidence of complicated prejudice-motivated harassment and violence plotted against the people to threaten their lives liberty, integrity, social and economic development since the great holocaust.

"We survived challenge because we refused to give in as hostage in our land, because of our steadfastness and largely, because of the abounding grace of God that was upon us.

"Despite the situation we found ourselves, we have exercised restraint, minimized the tendency for retaliation and preached and participated in several peacebuilding processes", Dashe mentioned.

The President expressed worry concerning the continued hate speeches and other orchestrations against their people in the various media platforms by the current Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Mallam Isa Pantami.

He alleged that there is a current hate speech in circulation on social media, in which Pantami threatened to lead a jihad to Langtang against Tarok people.

" That speech is incompatible with the notion of tolerance, constitutes incitement to denigration, discrimination, hostility and violence against our people which could trigger harassment.

"We hope these latest plots are not part of the Honourable Minister's long-standing and widely publicized genocidal agenda against our people in Langtang North, Langtang South, Wase Local Government Areas and other locations.

"We hope the security agents will deploy appropriate measures that will nip these threats in the bud to avoid another cycle of the breakdown of law and order, and also thaw the unpleasant repercussion of the impugned acts and provocation", Dashe added.
