Reigning champions Plateau United football club of Jos, have smashed visiting Warri Wolves two-nil in match day 28 encounter of the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) 2020/2021 season.

A second half goals from Sunday Anthony and Zulkifilu Mohammad is enough for the home side team Plateau United who sealed victory and claimed three maximum points after a disappointed first half goalless draw.

Peace Boys (Plateau United) hosted Warri Wolves at New International Stadium Jos, Zaria Road on Sunday.

Though United make some changes in their starting eleven after losing away from home against Nasarawa United in Lafia previously.

According to Plateau United head Coach Abdu Maikaba, said despite some changes in the squad the boys played very well because they know what we want.

"We won the game which is very important for us. We are going to face Jigawa Golden Stars midweek Wednesday or Thursday in Aiteo cup, thereafter we are coming to host Eyimba of Abba in NPFL.

"Winning is very key for us because we're going to stand somewhere in the and our target is to play the continental tournament next coming season", Maikaba stated.
