An All progressive Congress APC stalwart in Plateau state Alhaji Nagelu Garba, on Tuesday  called on Muslims in the state  to embrace the values of sacrifice, love and continue to foster unity as they join their counterparts worldwide to celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir.



He made this known in a statement made available to newsmen in Jos .


Nagelu urged Muslims to imbibe the spirit of love and adhere to safety protocols to stop COVID-19 pandemic.


He  also called on Muslims to continue to demonstrate fear of God.


He said, “The essence of Eid-El-Kabir is the demonstration of the fear of Allah by Prophet Ibrahim (ASW) and his son, Prophet Ismail (ASW). If all of us can imbibe the fear of Allah, then our society will be better.”


I enjoined all Muslim faithful in Plateau  and Nigerians to pray for enduring peace and security of Nigeria.



Nagelu further said "I call on citizens of Plateau to continue to support Governor Simon Lalong because he is determined to better the lives of every one in the state



 Governor, Simon Lalong, is making Plateau proud, Lalong is a humble and honest leader.



"He has restored peace in our dear state and institutionalised peace building and reconciliation through the establishment of a peace building agency,” he said.


I call on the people of the state to support the Governor because of the good work he is doing .



"Lalong would do more for the people of the state"



"Our Governor is a friend of the Youths as well as the downtrodden in the state ,I appeal to citizens of the state to continue to support him at all times ".
