Group in Plateau operating under the aegis of  Qua'an Pan Youth APC supporters on Wednesday, urged the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state to withdraw the ticket of the Party's candidate in Qua'an Pan Mr  Ernest Daar  Abner because of what they alleged as gross misconduct.


The group also alleged that the candidate of the party is grooming thugs who have been harassing other members of the party in the local government especially during the recently conducted APC ward congresses.


Lucious Damar the spokesperson of the group, who stated in Jos also called on security operatives in the state to beam its searchlight on Hon Ernest Daar  Abner because he is breeding so many political thugs in preparation for the local government elections.


The statement alleged that during the recently conducted Ward congress, Hon Daar forced his way into the venue of the event with thugs, particularly where the 3 man committee was seated headed by the Senator representing Plateau South Prof Nora Daddut who had been mandated to chair the conduct of the congress in the council.


"One of those attacked by his thugs is Hon Patrick Dariem who is a party faithful, they further alleged.


The group further alleged that Hon Daar and his thugs attempted to disrupt the ward congress which took place in Shendam, and it took the efforts of security operatives to calm the situation.


In their words, "Hon Daar is an appointee of the Governor and also a supposed flagbearer of the party in the forthcoming local government elections in the council, to us, he is not exhibiting the qualities of a leader by breeding thugs ."


"We call on security operatives to call him to order and put him on watch alert because of the above-mentioned character he is exhibiting ."


The group also appealed to Governor Simon Lalong and the APC in the state to discipline him ., we call on the Party to if possible withdraw the certificate issued to him as the flag bearer of the party in the forthcoming council polls.


Damar further called on the party and the state Governor Barrister Simon Lalong to discipline and call to order the Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Victor Lapang for publicly insulting critical stakeholders of the party in the council especially the Senator representing Plateau South in the National Assembly Prof. Dame Nora Daduut during the recently conducted APC ward congress.


The group said it is wrong for these party chieftains to publicly exhibit acts of disloyalty and still expect to be accorded respect and reward by the ruling party.
