The Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission (PLASIEC), had on Friday announced the commencement of ad-hoc staff recruitment for the up coming October 9, 2021, Local Government elections in the state.

The state electoral umpire said interested candidates should obtained application forms from the commission's area offices across the 17 Local Government Areas of the state.

The commission revealed that the forms will be available from Saturday 18th through Tuesday 21st September, 2021.

This was contained in a press release signed by the PLASIEC secretary, Barr. I.S Bashiri in Jos the state capital on Friday.

According to Bashiri, "the Plateau state Independent electoral commission (PLASIEC) wishes to inform interested candidates who desire to work as ad-hoc staff during the forthcoming Local Government Council elections in the state.

"The application forms to that effect can be obtained from Saturday 18th to Tuesday 21st September, 2021, at the commission's area offices in the seventeen Local Government Areas where the elections are to be held.

"Interested candidates are requested to fill and return the forms at the respective offices where they were collected, not later than 4:00pm on Tuesday 21st September, 2021."
