President Mohammadu Buhari have assured to bring back peace and enhance justice in Plateau state and Nigeria as a whole.

Buhari said he is saddened over the unwarranted attacks and killings of innocent lives and destruction of properties in the state.

He assured unrivaled the perpetrators of such heinous crimes to face the full wrath of law as his administration believed in justice.

President Buhari gave while declare open the Nigeria Inter-religious Council (NIREC) meeting in Government House Little Rayfield, Jos on Monday.

Represented by the secretary to the Government of the Federation, Barr. Boss Mustapha he condemn the killings and condole with the people and Government of Plateau State, calling on the citizens to disregard mutual suspicious against one another.

According to him:" deepening peace can only be achieved through dialogue with one another devoid of ethnic or religion belief.

"The major responsibility of Government at all levels is to ensure the security of lives and properties of its citizens. But the purpose cannot be achieved without a collaborative effort of all and sundry.

" Our determination as a Government  is to restore peace and ensure the sense of justice in a transparent manner.

"Our searchlight and surveillance is well focus to apprehend and bring perpetrators to face the law.

"We will continue collaboration both locally and internationally to enhance peace and justice in Plateau and Nigeria.
