Constituents of Plateau North continually benefit from the many good works of their Senator, Barr. ID Gyang who is regarded as the undisputed best performing Senator from Plateau State and one of Nigeria's outstanding legislators.


Exactly 1 month after empowering about 630 farmers with training and startup funds for post-seasonal farming and agro-produce marketing skills, Senator I D Gyang has again empowered 500 widows with funds to boost their small businesses.


Mindful of the plight of students in his constituency, Senator Gyang also gave scholarship funds to over 600 students in his constituency.


Speaking to a highly delighted and appreciative audience at Mee's Palace in Rayfield, Senator I D Gyang beseeched the students passionately to take advantage of their youthfulness to study hard and through their choice of lifestyle, sow seeds that will guarantee a bright future for them.



Having enumerated a mindblowing compendium of his verifiable achievements thus far, he added "In acknowledgment of those that have served before and in respect of their labours, I tell you that the mandate you gave me is not competing with the past, we are here to challenge the future. Also, there is no day or time that I will ever keep quiet on the floor of the Senate on issues that are critical to Plateau State or this nation at large"


Plateau State PDP Chairman, Hon. Chris Hassan, ably represented by Hon. Davou Mang, said the good works of the Senator makes the party so proud. He described him as the kind of product that is easily marketable because of his great works.


Representative of NAPPS National President, Comr. Fidelis Pam, eulogized the senator as he enumerated some of the educational strides of the senator that students are thankful for. He said the students are immensely grateful for the numerous projects, legislation, and other interventions of the positive impact mandate, towards the advancement of education in the constituency and nation at large.


Goodwill messages were received from the former minister of water resources, Hon. Sarah Reng Ochekpe, CAN Chairman Plateau North, Rev. Canon Nenman Isa Gowon, among other well-respected figures in society who all commended the Senator.


Mrs. Zubai Jubril, who spoke on behalf of the widows thanked the senator for his impactful strides and prayed that God will raise many more like him.
