A group known as APC integrity Forum for Good Governance has posited that the opinion poll purportedly conducted by a Jos based media outfit, "Farmhouse" on the running mate to the APC Governorship candidate in Plateau State was the biggest scam of the year.

A statement signed by Hon. Iliya D. Mando and Sylvester Maiyaki, Chairman and Secretary of the Forum respectively and copies made available to media men in Jos on Sunday evening described the said opinion poll as the height of pettiness.

"We have noticed with high degree of disappointment a Purported result of an opinion poll carried out by a mushroom media outfit, called farmhouse on the choice of a running mate to  our credible Gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Nentanwe Yilwatda.

"We are not surprised with this unfortunate development taking into account the antecedents of the owner of the platform on facebook who has been using it for either blackmail or hatchet jobs for the highest bidder.

"It is for this reason that we find it necessary to informed the ignorant public that there was no opinion poll conducted by the said media outfit. The whole thing is a scam aimed at misleading the public and satisfy the interest of the winner of the Purported poll who (our findings show) had spent more than half a million naira for this purpose.

Opinion polls are usually designed to represent the opinions of a population by conducting a series of questions and then extrapolating generalities in ratio or within confidence intervals. This Pollster does not possessed what it takes to carry out a survey on the matter under referenced.

We therefore, call on our party faithful in particular and the people of Plateau State in general to ignore that nauseating piece. We know Dr. Nentanwe Yilwatda as a man of pedigree who cannot be swayed by such a trash in his choice of a running mate", the group said.
