Another round of a Free Comprehensive Medical and Surgical Services organized by the Qua'an-Pan Local Government Council under the leadership of Hon Ernest Abner Da'a for the people of the locality and environs is to commence on Tuesday January 31 to February 5, 2023 in 5 centers across of the LGA.
A Statement signed by the Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs, Stephen Sarki Musa of the Executive Chairman of the LGC, indicates that, the program will hold simultaneously in Kwalla, Kwande, Namu, Kwa and Doemak, adding that the official flag off will take place at the Pedong and Maternity in Namu town on January 31
The Statement added that the 6 Days Free Medical Outreach, which commences from 8:00 am to 4 pm daily, is a collaboration between Qua'an-Pan Local Government Council and the Association of Resident Doctors, Plateau State Specialist Hospital, Jos.
The Chairman of the Council, Hon Ernest Abner Daa disclosed that for easy accessibility, the Medical Outreach at the 5 different zones simultaneously, with the one in Zone A holding at the Cottage Hospital Kwalla; Zone B at Peter Bawa and Anna Memorial Clinic Kwande; Zone C at the Pedong Clinic and Maternity Namu; while the Primary Health Care Centre Kwa will host Zone D, with the exercise for Zone E; which will be strictly for eye surgery and glasses;
will hold at the Primary Health Care Centre Doemak.
Hon Da'a appealed to the people to take advantage of the decentralization of the exercise by patronizing the centres closest to them, and urged them to conduct themselves in orderly manner.
The Chairman said the exercise is in fulfilment of some of his campaign promises of putting smiles on the faces of the people at the grassroot, adding that the Free Medical and Surgical Services is going to be robust and comprehensive, admonishing them to cooperate with the health personnel to ensure adequate and qualitative service delivery.
