Senator Simon Mwadkon

The deputy governor of Plateau state, Mrs Josephine Piyo has rejoiced with the 10th Senate minority leader, Senator Simon Mwadkon on the occasion nof his 55th birthday anniversary.

A congratulatory message made available to this medium Tuesday by press secretary to the deputy governor, Mrs Martha Nyam, described  senator Mwadkon as a dogged politician and a grassroots mobilizer who has placed Plateau State on the map of national politics with his recent election as the Senate Minority Leader. 

Piyo noted that the exemplary leadership and intellectual capacity demonstrated by the celebrant was evident in his emergence as one of the principal officers of the Senate.

"I urge the Senate Minority leader to continue to fly the flag of our great party and Plateau State higher with determination and exemplary leadership for the younger generation to emulate."  

The Deputy Governor prayed  God to grant Mwadkon long life, prosperity, guidance, protection and good health as he serves his people in the Senate effectively.
