Plateau state governor, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, has received the President of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samuel Oladele in Jos.

The governor, represented by his deputy, Mrs Josephine Piyo, thanked the revered cleric for the visit and urged him to support the state with prayers and constant intercessions.

He also called on citizens to pray ceaseless by and live in peace and with one another.

“It is an honour to receive you today, we feel blessed that you have been in the state for so many days just to pray for peace to return to the land.

“It shows you have us at heart and you care about the people of Plateau and we are encouraged by it, what you have done has demonstrated kindness and ultimately an act of God.

“This further exemplifies that we are all one. It doesn’t matter where we come from, our denomination and the language we speak, we are brothers and sisters''.
Mutfwang expressed his administration's determination towards the restoration of lasting peace to all troubled areas in the state.

Earlier, the CAC President said that the visit was to pray for the progress of the state and its people.

Oladele said his team had been on a 9-day visit to Bokkos LGA to pray and offer intercessions.

He added that they would end the prayers in the city of Jos in the coming days as directed by God.

He stated that the current administration has exhibited commitment to turn the fortunes of the state around, calling on citizens of the state to support the government and its policies.

The cleric urged the people to return to God and seek his face, as he further called on distractors of the current administration to join hands with government to build a better Plateau.
