The National President of Farmers Guard Armadillos Alliance, FAGA , Ambassador Yohana Yilpwan Margif has called on  President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to overhaul the nation's Security Architecture to ensure effective service delivery.

Margif who made the appeal in a statement lamented that over the years , the nation's security apparatus has failed to provide solutions to the numerous issues confronting the country ranging from Insurgency, banditry, kidnapping, cultism armed robbery and other violent crimes.

He regretted that the issue of Plateau state which seems to defy all solution in view of the fact that perpetrators of the massacre have not been brought to justice, lamented that it is high time , people should be held accountable for these heinous crimes.

" It's high time the security go after these people who are scatter around the mountains surrounding those villages. The era of acronyms such as unknown gunmen and yet-to-be-identified-persons has gone this is time for action'  He emphasized.

If what survivors of the attack are saying is anything to go by, then the attackers are known and iimt is the duty of the security to go after them and bring them to justice" Margif said.

He argued that the killing of over two hundred innocent and and defenceless people which has attracted worldwide condemnation , should be the needed tonic to take a cursory look at the security architect of the country and proffer workable and lasting remedy to the situation.

The former Labour Party Governorship, LP, aspirant in Plateau State warned that if decisive actions are not taking over this latest attack, the people may lose confidence in the security agencies and resort to self help which will be counterproductive and dangerous for our cooperate existence as a country.

He expressed serious concern that if proactive and decisive measures are not taking to stem the tide of these senseless killings , the future of the generation yet unborn will not be secured , something that may spell doom for the existence of the state.

Margif appealed to the three tiers of government to do more so that the impact of government will be felt in those communities and halt the barbaric act which by all intent and purposes is nothing more than ethnic cleansing.

The National President of FAGA called on the security agencies to be more responsive while responding to distress calls as most of their interventions comes late when the damage  has been done , a situation which raises suspicion among the populace as to their sincerity and commitment to end the bloodbath.
