The Transition Implementation Committee (TIC) Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council, Hon. Samuel Dala Umaru have reinstate commitment and determination to inject good governance across the length and breadth of the council area devoid of ethnic or religion sentiment.

Umaru assured to galvanized and leverage on the existing opportunity and enhance better services delivery to the masses in line with Governor Caleb Mutfwang's "The Time Is Now" mantra.

The Jos North TIC chairman gave the assurance at the Plateau Hotel Rock Garden on Monday while addressing Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) loyalists and well-wishes who trunk in their thousands from the 20 political wards of Jos North in celebration of Governor Caleb Mutfwang victory at the Supreme court in Abuja on Friday 12th January, 2024.

He described the judgment which confirmed Caleb Mutfwang the authentic Governor of Plateau as a divine "arrangement of God ".

"We have gathered here today to celebrate the victory of our dear leader and Governor, His Excellency Barr.Caleb Mutfwang at the Supreme Court which signified divine arrangement of God.

"By the grace of God we will continue working assiduously in collaboration with the state government to provide dividends of democracy to the people at the grassroot."

The TIC chairman also revealed that they were been able to cleared backlog of salaries of civil servants and do some projects within two months of assumption of office.

According to him, "when we came on board about two months now, I discovered there are backlog of salaries arrears of civil servants which we have cleared. We also embarked on road construction and boreholes in some wards.

"By the grace of God we have put machinery in motion, and in no distant time were going to witness the installation of 3 solar power in each of the 20 wards in Jos North."

On rerun elections for Plateau Northern senatorial district and Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency slated for 3rd February, 2024, Hon. Samuel Umaru expressed optimism that PDP will emerged victories with wide margin.

He charged party members and residents of Jos North to mobilized and come en-masse and cast their votes for Senator Simon Mwadkwon and Hon. Musa Agah respectively.

PDP chairman in Jos North, Alhaji Aminu Abdullahi applauded Judges of the Supreme Court for restoring Plateau people their mandate.

He tasked citizens to discard opposition parties campaign of calumny peddled against PDP and really support around Governor Mutfwang to provide development on the Plateau.
