Lisha Seleme Dachor, a Nigerian entrepreneur and a revered expert in nail painting, embarked on what would become the longest nail painting marathon by an individual if confirmed and certified by the Guinness world record.
Her journey was not only about setting a record but also about highlighting the artistry and precision that nail painting entails.
Speaking to newsmen over the weekend at Crispan Hotel in Jos, the artist entrepreneur, stressed determination to upgrade her business as she intends to further her education.
According to her, the achievement is more than just a record; it’s a testament to what passion and perseverance can accomplish.
"My story is an inspiration to artists and entrepreneurs everywhere, proving that creative boundaries are there to be pushed and records are set to be broken."
Meanwhile, the member representing Jos North-Bassa Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon.Daniel Asama has lashed those who are labelling Plateau as the theater of insecurity.
He said you hear people who are not dwellers of Plateau talking about how Plateau is not peaceful. I really don't want to hear that.
"I will tell you that, I don't want to live in denial. We have some security challenges which is endemic. It has become a national issue. There is barely any part of this country that is not having one kind of security challenge or the other. But I don't like it when one state is been stereotyped, labelled and profiled different.
"Yes, we are struggling on the Plateau in terms of security, but the Governor is doing all he can, the president is looking no other way in terms of helping. We are doing everything we can to make sure we mitigate every trouble on the Plateau.
"And if Plateau is constituted of 17 local governments, and two or three local governments are infringed with security breaches you cannot tag the whole state as the security "threat state ", the Lawmaker mentioned.
Hon.Asama, further stated "this lady painted nails for 72 hours. There was no harassment. It is peaceful. The state is good. If you can achieve Guinness world record in the state.
"The word peace is relative. There is no absolute peace anywhere in the world. Peace is relative, you get it as much as you have it! That is what peace is!
"The young lady has just prooved to us that Plateau is the home of hospitality, business and also tourism because she painted the people's nails for 72 hours. We are proud of her"
"For me in the National Assembly, I will continue to talk about this one again and again. My first motion is on security because I knew that I have to do that. Is about community policing, and I know that we need to enhance that. And to do that it has to come from the central that is why I passed it out there and were pushing and I am pushing strongly towards that. That National Assembly just two weeks ago did a community police hearing so that we can best liace and see how we can overcome all those troubles.
"I have many things that I want to do including empowerment, human capital development which is what this lady is doing and I am so proud of her.
"I had to come down from Abuja immediately when I heard about this. She has proven to people that you can do it. You don't have to wait for government, you don't have to wait for support from anywhere either family or friends, and now she did it. And we have attention on her now that is the point. She set am example to all the young people in Plateau and beyond to learn."
