With barely 24 hours into the conduct of local government elections in Plateau State, President of the caretaker committee, Jasawa Community Development Association, Hon. Isyaku Inuwa Dananacha, has advocate for free, fair and transparent exercise.

Dananacha urged eligible voters to queue up and exercise their civic responsibility come 9th October, 2024.

This was contained in a statement signed by Isyaku Inusa Dananacha on Tuesday and made available to newsmen in Jos the state capital.

Emphasizing the importance of local government elections most especially now that autonomy is in place, He acknowledged that allowing grassroot communities to directly benefit from democracy is very key.

He counsel electorates to vote for reliable, competent, and honest leaders devoid of sentiment.

While commending Governor Caleb Muftwang's commitment to free and fair elections, Hon. Isyaku Dananacha advises voters to remain resolute, peaceful and orderly.

He also urges the electoral umpire, Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission (PLASIEC) to ensure timely distribution of election materials and security operatives to maintain peace.
