The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) Plateau State Chapter Chairman ,Comrade Tokji Mandin has  presented a flags and certificate of return to the party's chairmanship and Councillorship candidates in Plateau Northern Senatorial District to contest the forthcoming local governments elections in the state.

Recalled the local councils elections is scheduled to hold 9th October, 2024, across the 17 LGAs in the state as the chairman called on the NNPP loyalists to come out en-masse and vote for the party.

Comrade Mandin  has presented flags to 17 LGAs  Chairmanship and Councillorship Candidates, ahead the Local Government election in the state by admonishing them to protect their vote .

The chapter Chairman, Comrade Tokji Mandin emphasized that the people most shun indomie and salt given to them during the election to vote for unpopular person after which they will suffered .

The presentation of party flags held at the  Jos North local Government Area, invites the general public to the official campaign flag-off of its Chairmanship and Councillorship candidates for the 2024 Local Government Elections on Sunday 6th October , Sarki street near Zololo Junction .

With the Keynote Address: "Empowering the People, Transforming Jos North"

Speaking at the event, Mandin urged the electorate in the state to vote NNPP candidates for good leadership and to enjoy more dividends of democracy.

He said if given the mandate NNPP under the leadership of Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso (Kwankwasiya ) had executed good projects and laid viable foundation for infrastructure development in Nigeria to address the problem education, poverty, unemployment .

The chapter Chairman of NNPP said voting for the party’s candidates would bring unprecedented development to the state.

Mr Tokji said all the chairmanship and councillorship candidates had embarked on community projects that impacted positively in the lives of people   in the state.

Speaking the Chairmanship candidate of NNPP of Jos North LGA, Hon.Adam Mazadu , appealed to people of Jos North LGA to vote massively for NNPP, considering the achievements which had impacted positively on the lives of the people under the amiable leadership of Musa Kwankwaso .

‌The chairmanship candidate asked party supporters to work tirelessly for the victory of the party in the coming election.

According to him,"we have a lot but due to time he reeled out that the problem associated with the good people of Jos North is lacking in public primaries schools and secondary, insecurity bedeviling them when given the mandate he would ensure the protection of lives and properties of citizens under hai watch.

He said,Jos North LGA is a commercial hubs of the state so we need to put aside our differences in religious and culture and promote togetherness because the forefathers never looked at the diversity.

Mazadu appealed that the people of Plateau State were not looking at the differences but imbibe the spirit of oneness so if they people vote him he would maintain the spirit.

He disclosed that his policy plan to the people of Jos North LGA was to empower women and Youths to remove them from poverty in the council .

Adams stated that owning to the high level of illiteracy and poverty in Jos North LGA many youths engage in unholy practice and they are destroying their future.

He pointed out that his administration will carry all people alone religious, ethnic groups,so without peace there won't be meaningful development but emphasized on clearly defined leadership to solve many internal issues through democratic process.

Adams harped on using traditional institution to resolve many internal issues .
