....Harps Governor Mutfwang leadership prowess 


With barely 48 hours to the conduct of local government elections in Plateau State, a group known as Coalition of the Cultural Middle-Belt Political Forum has endorsed 17 chairmanship and 325 councillorship candidates of People Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.

The forum revealed the rationale behind PDP candidates endorsement stems from Governor Caleb Mutfwang administration strides within one year few months.

Addressing a press conference Monday at the NUJ Secretariat in Jos, chairman of the forum, Plateau State chapter, Prince Ibrahim David, stated that after a careful consideration, rigorous assessment, and consultation with stakeholders, "we wholeheartedly endorse all PDP Chairmanship and Councillorship candidates for the October 9th Local Government Election in Plateau State.

 "It is important to explain that Our endorsement stems from Governor Caleb Mutfwang's unwavering commitment to Grassroots development in Plateau State. 

"His administration's dedication to empowering local communities and fostering inclusive growth resonates deeply with our values. This is because within just one year few months in office, Plateau has witnessed and is still witnessing grassroots development through Governor Mutfwang's initiatives and he has demonstrated genuine focus on local needs and empowerment, aligning with our desire for community-driven progress. 

"The Inclusive Governance by Governor Mutfwang is worthy of commendation by ensuring that all various nationalities of the Middle-Belt have a voice in his administration.

"The Governor's economic strategies prioritize job creation, infrastructure development, and sustainable progress, essential for our region's prosperity", David mentioned.

He further reiterates:"We have also seen his achievements in the area of Infrastructure development in rural areas, enhancing education and healthcare services, empowerment programs for youth and women, Promotion of agriculture and entrepreneurship as well as the prioritization of Security and the welfare of citizens.  

"This endorsement marks a significant milestone in our collective journey toward a better Plateau State. We are confident that these candidates will champion the interests of our communities and work tirelessly to address local challenges."
