Hon. Daniel Nanbol Listick, Plateau 10th Assembly Minority leader, chairman House committee on labour and security 


The member representing Langtang North-Central Constituency and minority leader in the Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon. Daniel Nanbol Listick, has set out modalities for empowering about 500 tertiary institutions students constituents.

Nanbol Listick, the Plateau 10th Assembly chairman House committee on labour and security, acknowledged the initiative aimed at enhancing and equipping the constituents with sound education for better and brighter future.

It was learned that the Nanbol Listick scholarship program is tagged" the Legislative Impact Small Scholarship Support for tertiary institution students from Langtang North Central State Constituency. 

According to the Lawmaker's Aide, Miri Karbin Nyantau, said qualified applicants with valid identification can fill the form and submit in their various Wards or can submit online through the following email address mirikarbin@gmail.com or WhatsApp 08133144465.

Nyantau revealed that the application starts on Tuesday 25th March and ends on Friday 4th April, 2025 as the form is totally free of charge and can be gotten at the various ward centres.

"Successful applicants will receive the sum of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000) only per student.

"Langtang North-Central State Constituency is blessed with about four thousand tertiary institutions students and God's willing, we will be working with five hundred (500) students in total. 

"This then implies that applicants will be treated on first come first serve basis. Thus late submission will not be tolerated.

"All the supporting documents enlisted below must be attached to the form for onward screening by the Committee:
a. Admission letter
b.School ID card or Course form
c. PVC for those within the age of 18 and above", the legislative aide noted.

It is crystal clear that aside from law making, oversight, and lobbying which is the sole responsibility of every lawmaker, Hon. Daniel Nanbol Listick is matching his representation with action by putting smiles on the faces of his constituents.

This initiative is one among many spearheaded by the Lawmaker to entrench dividends of democracy to the constituents.

Recalled, not quite long ago, Nanbol Listick empowered about 121 women with fifty thousand Naira (N50,000) each, worth six million, fifty thousand Naira (N6,050, 000.00), aimed at addressing the current deplorable economic challenges and improving their living condition.

We prayed such intervention continues waxing stronger for the betterment of Langtang North-Central constituents, Plateau State and Nigeria as a whole.
