Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Naanlong Daniel Gapyil, has congratulated former Governor of Plateau State and distinguished Senator, Joshua Chibi Dariye, on the occasion of his 68th birthday anniversary.

The Speaker, in congratulatory message to Senator Dariye, praised him for dedicating the greater part of his life to the service of Plateau State and Nigeria at large.

He described Dariye as a true statesman whose commitment to governance and the wellbeing of the people remains commendable.

Rt. Hon. Naanlong particularly applauded Senator Dariye’s exemplary leadership during his tenure as Governor from 1999 to 2007, noting that he led with distinction, wisdom, gallantry and with sense of responsibility.

According to the Speaker, “God has granted Senator Dariye not only years but wisdom and strength in good health  a testament to a life of sacrifice and devotion to public service.”

He further conveyed his goodwill on behalf of the principal officers, members, and staff of the Plateau State House of Assembly, praying for continued grace, sound health, and longevity as Senator Dariye advances in age.

“Senator Dariye’s legacy continues to inspire a new generation of leaders. We join his family, friends, and well wishers in celebrating this milestone,” the Speaker stated.
