Stakeholders across the grassroots level in Plateau State have continued shower accolade for Governor Caleb Mutfwang's sterling leadership prowess, promised to re-elect the governor come 2027 general elections.

The stakeholders who affirmed their unflinching loyalty to Mutfwang's led administration, acknowledged they were been able to feel the impact of governance in their domain.

Governor Mutfwang's endorsement came to fruition on Tuesday when the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), Plateau State chapter intensify its peer review tour.

Recalled, the State chapter of ALGON on Monday 25th August, 2025, embarked on familiarization visit aimed at strengthening grassroot governance.
Speaking to newsmen in Shendam LGA, chairman of ALGON in Plateau, Hon. Hamisu Anane, admit that the local government administration which consists the executive arm, legislative arm and the traditional class demands synergy to entrench development.

He further reiterated that the 
essence of the grassroot governance is for both the elected and appointed officials to work together in unison to complement and reduce the  burden for  the state government.

He also enjoined the PDP loyalists not to be deter by the current political happenings in the state and country, most especially the appointment of Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda as National chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC).

"Despite the appointment of Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda from Plateau as APC national chairman, it not stop PDP from winning the governorship seat in the state again," Anane.
The ALGON chairman also confirmed that the progress they have seen so far in various LGA is very encouraging and impressive, expressed optimism "this shows that we're working.

"We want to work in synergy, we want to work as a team, so that we can support the governor. By the grace of God, during the elections we will have very little to do, because our work will speak for us—and it is already speaking for us."

He tasked electorates to make deliberate effort by mobilizing themselves massively to participate in the continue voters registration exercise spearheaded by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
