The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has confirmed that the Vice president, Senator Kashim Shettima alongside other APC will receiving decampees in Plateau State come 30th October, 2025.

Our correspondent reports that prominent politicians within the ranks and files of People Democratic Party (PDP) and other opposition parties in Plateau have already joined APC with others on the way coming.

Prof. Yilwatda who was speaking during a meeting with Plateau APC stakeholders in Jos on Friday, said Plateau have no choice than to president Tinubu for second term in 2027 taking into account that the president fulfilled 40 to 50 percent of his campaign promises within two and a half years in office.
"The initiated construction of thousands of kilometres of roads across the country. Improve the social and economic growth of Nigerians."

The APC national chairman assured to continue unveiling new programmes aimed at empowering small medium enterprises (SMEs) until 2027 general elections.

"Very soon APC will unveil ward based empowerment programmes nationwide to support small businesses owners. We want people to take maximum advantage of this initiative to better their lives."
He charged Plateau citizens to continue supporting president Tinubu's administration for a better and futuristic Nigeria.

The stakeholders meeting aimed at strengthening internal democracy among APC loyalists in Plateau ahead of 2027 general elections.

Lending their voices, Senator Simon Lalong, Rt. Hon. Idris Maje, Speaker Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Naanlong Daniel as well as Pauline Tallen advocates for maximizing the party's opportunity for greater expectations irrespective of individual choices.

Former APC national assistant secretary, Barr. Festus Fwantir moved a motion for the endorsement of president Tinubu's reelection in 2027. The motion was supported by Hon. Alex Demlong and unanimously agreed by the stakeholders.
