A Coalition of Northern Christian Youth Association of Nigeria (CNCYAN), have called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to intervene over what they described as injustice meted against one Mr. Joshua Kadmi Luka.

Mr. Luka a Christian, who held from Bauchi State said to have been unjustly shortchange and denied the position of permanent secretary position at the Federal Civil service despite emerging the best candidate and passing the DSS screening in April, 2022.

This was contained in an open letter signed and issued to Acenews online Wednesday in Jos the state capital by the CNCYAN chairman, Evang. Dr. Ringsum Joshua.

The letter reads, "We, the Coalition of Northern Christian Youth Association of Nigeria (CNCYAN), write to bring to your attention a pressing matter of grave concern and injustice perpetrated against Mr. Joshua Kadmi Luka, a Christian Director from Bauchi State.

"Despite emerging the best candidate and passing the DSS screening in April 2022, Mr. Luka was shockingly denied the position of Permanent Secretary using false reports and a fictitious petition by an unregistered NGO maliciously orchestrated against him.

"This blatant injustice is a stark reminder of the systemic persecution and marginalization faced by Christians in Northern Nigeria which has been extended to the federal civil service.

"We urge Your Excellency, as the champion of justice and equity, to intervene in this matter and ensure that justice is served and Mr. Luka is compensated in the spirit of equity and fairplay to all Nigerians irrespective of their religion or ethnicity.

"Mr. Luka's credentials and achievements in the Federal Civil Service are impeccable, and his integrity has been cleared by the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation. It is therefore unconscionable that he has been denied the position he rightfully earned.

"We implore Your Excellency to use your good office to investigate this case, identify the perpetrators of this injustice, and take necessary actions to right the wrongs and compensate the victim. This will not only vindicate Mr. Luka but also promote fairness, equity, and justice in our nation.

"We eagerly await your prompt action on this matter and pray that God will continue to guide you in your noble efforts to build a just and equitable society for all Nigerians", the letter concluded.

Our correspondent learned that the copy of the letter also extended to the Nigerian Senate, the House of Representatives, the SGF, DG DSS, the Chief of Staff to the President, the Nigerian Press, All Diplomatic Missions, All Human Rights Organizations as well All Christian Organizations.
